Kaja and Phil Foglio
Kaja and Phil Foglio are a Seattle-based writer, artist, and publisher team. Together, they won the first Hugo Award for Best Graphic Story in 2009 for Girl Genius, Volume 8: Agatha Heterodyne and the Chapel of Bones, and has continued to co-win two Hugo Awards the following years.
Jonas Saul
Jonas Saul is the bestselling author of the Sarah Roberts Series and has written and published over thirty thrillers. After selling more than two million books, he signed with the Gandolfo Helin & Fountain Literary and Dramatic Rights Management. His recent release is The Immortal Gene, published by Vesuvian Books.
Tania Del Rio
Tania Del Rio is a professional comic book writer and artist who has spent the past 10 years writing and illustrating, primarily for a young audience. Her clients include Archie Comics, Dark Horse, and Marvel; she is best known for her work writing and drawing the 42-issue run of Sabrina the Teenage Witch. She is also the author of the WARREN THE 13TH series published by Quirk Books. She lives in Los Angeles.
Joe Biel and Elly Blue
Joe Biel and Elly Blue comprise 2/5 of the ownership and 2/3 of the management of Microcosm Publishing, a 24-year-old publisher in Portland, Oregon that has sold millions of books. They have also each written around a dozen books and been featured everywhere from Time Magazine to to Democracy Now! to Publisher’s Weekly to fashion magazines in Japan and Korea to the front page of the Oregonian. Together, they produce a weekly podcast.
Jody Lynn Nye
Jody Lynn Nye lists her main career activity as “spoiling cats.” She lives near Atlanta with three feline overlords, Athena, Minx, and Marmalade; and her husband, author and packager Bill Fawcett. She has published more than 50 books, including collaborations with Anne McCaffrey and Robert Asprin, and over 170 short stories. Her latest books are Rhythm of the Imperium (Baen), Moon Tracks (with Travis S. Taylor, Baen), Myth-Fits (Ace), and Once More, with Feeling, a short book on revising manuscripts (WordFire). She teaches the annual DragonCon Two-Day Writers Workshop in Atlanta, GA, and is a judge for the Writers of the Future Contest.
