Gambling with free stuff

I see giving my work away for free like gambling with potential fans.

I’m basically betting the cost of the product that they are going to love what I have to say enough to buy my work at full price for the rest of their lives. I’ve made this gamble thousands of times, often lose, I won’t lie and say that I don’t, but I’m never scared to gamble on myself.

I’ve been betting on myself and the quality of my work for years, and while I lose sometimes, I win big enough that it more than makes up for the rest of the gambles. I’ve found more rabid fans than I can count betting on myself.

I will never let money stand between me and finding a new fan who loves my work. I don’t give discounts. I make bets, and betting on yourself is the only way to make sure the house doesn’t always win.
