Guard your creating time

As you become more successful in your career, things start to come up that push your creating to the side.

Meetings that you never had before because nobody cared about you, interview requests that you couldn’t book before because nobody wanted to hear your story, launches that didn’t exist because you never had anything to sell, and more start to creep into your day.

That is why at the beginning of your career you should be precious of the time you have to create because you will need to be even more precious of it in the future.

It is best to get in the habit when you don’t need it so that when you do, you’ve already got the ability to keep your creating time sacred. If you don’t make it a habit at the beginning, it becomes nearly impossible to do it when other commitments start to intrude on it.
