The tapestry you weave

Every post you make is a piece of thread. No thread is very important on its own, but together they create a beautiful mosaic. It is up to you to weave the thread and tell the story.

You cannot only weave during a launch. You must weave every day, with every post, if you want to build a solid career. You have to show up and sew every single day. Every post somebody sees is another connection to you, and it builds a bond. The more bonds you make, the stronger your connection, and the more complete the tapestry looks to that person.

The more complete they see the tapestry, the more they will connect with you as a person, and the more they will want to support your work. You can’t only weave with sales posts, either. You have to show them the complete story of you. Otherwise, they will go away unsatisfied.

I literally weave my tapestry all day, even though I’m not always launching. At the forefront of my mind is always how to show a more complete version of myself and how I can show up for other people like I would like people to show up for me.

I believe that is one of the secrets to my success. I show up and sew even when there’s nothing to be gained from me doing so, except making a connection with other humans. I show them the tapestry while I’m weaving, when it’s done, and with every step I take along the way.
