Look to the past to move forward

I am reminded this morning of the fact that while many people look forward to the next project, few look backward to the assets they already have.

Relaunching old projects, combining old projects in new ways, repackaging long dead projects, and generally looking back to your backlist is a great way to make some money while you are flailing around in the dark to find any creative spark.

I guarantee you there are still more people out there who haven’t bought your old stuff, no matter how well it sold.

We are so quick to fall in love with the new we forget just how much love and care is in our past.

I have recovered and relaunched so many books in my life, revitalizing them and injecting much-needed cash into my business.

It’s true that nothing sells your old books like a new book, but equally true is that if you don’t have the energy to make something new, you can do a lot with what you’ve already made.

Repackage. Relaunch. Revitalize.
